Bifocal and multifocal contact lenses
Contact Lenses over 40
Even if you need reading glasses or progressive/bifocal glasses, you can still have contact lenses.
One option is to have reading glasses which can be worn over the top of the contact lenses as required. There are also bifocal and progressive contact lenses available as both monthly or daily disposables.
Another popular option is monovision or blended vision. Monovision works by allowing one eye to see distance and the other to see near. Although this may sound unusual it can work as well as the bifocal or progressive contact lenses.
Dailies Total 1 Multifocals
Dailies Total 1 Multifocal contact lenses are often our first choice of multifocal contact lens. They are made from the same ultra-comfortable contact lens material Delefilcon A as the standard Dailies Total 1 contact lenses.
Dailies Total 1 Mutlifocal contact lenses come in a wide range of lens sphere powers which will cover most contact lens prescriptions. They also offer 3 different reading addition powers which means we can offer increased reading powers for those that need it.
1 Day Acuvue MOIST Multifocal
The 1 Day Acuvue MOIST Multifocal also comes in three different reading options to correct different amounts of presbyopia (reading difficulties).
BioTrue one day for Presbyopia
BioTrue one day for Presbyopia are also a good contact lens option to correct both near and far vision at the same time. The Biotrue come in two different reading strengths, but only one pack size, 30 pack.
