Contact lens subsidy

A subsidy towards the cost of contact lenses is available for patients who, for medical reasons, cannot wear glasses.

The subsidy usually applies to patients with high myopia (eg > -10.00) or keratoconus. Rigid gas permeable or hard lenses are normally fitted.
