Dispensing Assistant / Clinical Assistant

We are searching for unique and enthusiastic individual to join our team at our modern well equipped practice.

This role involves practical work with the dispensing of optical appliances such as glasses and contact lenses, and may also include a clinical involvement with preliminary testing and the operation of some technical equipment as part of an eye examination of patients eyes and vision. Some general office and reception duties would be expected.

You may already have qualifications or experience in optical dispensing and are looking to have more clinical involvement in patient care.

You may be looking at training as a qualified Dispensing Optician and are looking for a work environment which assists you with the study and training process

You may already have experience in the optical industry either in sales, technical or reception and are looking to increase your role in patient care.

You may have experience in medical fields such as technical, medical reception, or a nursing background and are looking for a new challenge.

A vibrant but caring personality and a keen willingness to learn may be more important than past experience or skills as training will be given.

Our practice has a strong technology focus, so an enthusiasm to learn and embrace technology is essential.

Hours can be flexible to suit your lifestyle. Wages will be based on skills and experience.
