Childrens under 16 subsidy

Chldren under the age of 16 may qualify for a spectacle subsidy from Enable NZ.

To qualify the child, or the parent or guardian must have a valid Community Services Card or the child must have a current High Use Health Card.

The current Enable Spectacle Subsidy amount is $281.25(inc GST) per year and this can be used as payment towards eye examinations and glasses.

You will need to bring your Community Services Card or High Use Health Card with you to the examination
